Accessibility statement
Last updated October 2026
Dream Basement Finishing wants this website to work for everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or other assistive technology. The site is built toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not had the site independently audited, so we do not claim full conformance.
What we have built in
- Semantic headings and landmarks, with a skip link to the main content.
- Every interactive element works with a keyboard and shows a visible focus outline.
- Interactive drawings, such as the floor plan and the before-and-after comparison, have text equivalents and keyboard controls. The comparison uses a standard slider and also offers buttons for each view.
- Animation is reduced or removed when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Text and interface colors are chosen from brand pairings that meet WCAG contrast targets for their size.
- Form fields have visible labels, required fields are marked in text, and errors are described in words, not by color alone.
- Content remains readable if JavaScript does not load.
Known limitations
The architectural drawings are illustrative. Their meaning is conveyed in the surrounding text and captions, but fine linework may be hard to see at high zoom on small screens.
